Chic Ladies of Toronto is a private dining and lifestyle society founded by Shiva Safari.
Created from a lifelong appreciation for culture, elegant dining, and meaningful connection, the society brings together women who share a desire to experience life with intention, curiosity, and refinement.
Inspired by European traditions of gathering around the table, Chic Ladies of Toronto offers curated experiences centered on exceptional cuisine, thoughtful conversation, and beautiful settings.
Rooted in Toronto and guided by a global perspective, the society hosts intimate dinners at Michelin-starred and distinguished restaurants, elegant afternoon teas, and select cultural and lifestyle gatherings throughout the year.
Each experience is intentionally intimate, allowing members to connect naturally and authentically in an atmosphere of warmth and discretion.
Chic Ladies of Toronto is not a networking group, but a private circle grounded in shared values — an appreciation for quality, culture, and the art of living well.
As the society evolves, it will expand to include signature travel experiences and special events beyond the city, continuing its commitment to creating meaningful and memorable moments.
Membership is by application.
A Letter From The Founder
Chic Ladies of Toronto was created from a very personal place.
Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to live between cultures and perspectives, an experience shaped in part by holding three citizenships and feeling at home in more than one part of the world. This sense of belonging beyond borders has deeply influenced how I see connection, hospitality, and community.
Previously a Marriage and Family Therapist, I am reminded daily of the importance of meaningful human connection — how rare and valuable it is to feel truly at ease in the presence of others. Yet some of the most natural and lasting connections in my own life have formed not in formal settings, but around a beautifully set table, over an unhurried meal, in the company of women who share a curiosity for life.
Chic Ladies of Toronto was born from that spirit.
My hope has always been to create a private circle where women can gather not out of obligation, but out of genuine desire — to experience exceptional places, thoughtful conversation, and the quiet joy of shared moments.
It is a privilege to welcome each member into this society, and I remain deeply committed to preserving its warmth, discretion, and intention as it grows.
